About a TRUSTED HANDYMAN
- An engineer and problem solver
- A perfectionist
- Honest and transparent
Hi. I’m justin, your TRUSTED handyman.
I have always been that engineer, problem solver, fixer guy that thrives on learning how things work. When I was a kid, I spent plenty of time being grounded for taking my Dad’s tools apart just to see how they worked inside, but by age 15, I turned my curiosity into a career path when I bought a lawnmower at a yard sale for one dollar. I mowed lawns that summer to make money (to buy a new dirt bike that I could fix up), and I continued to develop my skills by repairing anything within reach.
Why I Started A Trusted Handyman
I launched A Trusted Handyman to extend my willingness to help others, and I am committed to being a trusted resource for Lexington and central Kentucky homeowners in need of repairs or renovations.
After 13 years in manufacturing working as an engineer, manager and running multiple facilities both in Mexico and the United States, I had always hoped to start my own business and be my own boss. I decided to go for it and started out doing custom electrical and mechanical designs, prototyping, consulting and all the nerdy engineering things I have always enjoyed doing. After rebuilding my own home and learning a lot through that process, family and friends were requesting my help with their own home issues and I was happy to help.
As my knowledge and experience continued to grow when it came to home repairs and renovation projects, I would often heard from others how difficult it was to find reliable, honest handyman services in Lexington and I knew I could fill the gap. I started A Trusted Handyman with a desire to help homeowners save time, money, and stress when it comes to home repairs in Lexington and central Kentucky.
